Margaret Thomas Named WRMC Employee of the Year

Margaret Thomas, four year CAP (Community Alternatives Program) employee in the Home Care Department, was Wilkes Regional's Employee of the Month for January 2003. Margaret was nominated by a patient's daughter who said that before Margaret started helping her mother, she was frustrated and discouraged because she was not able to do the things she once enjoyed. With Margaret's help, she was able to resume these activities. "Even though her job includes cooking and light housekeeping, Margaret serves as though she were serving her own family." The patient now hates to see the weekend come because Margaret is not with here on those days. Margaret has really made a difference in someone's life.
